  • One Paragraph Life Story

I was born in Maine to Bob and Linda Quillin, who were both school teachers. My dad was the principal of Pine Tree Academy in Freeport, ME, from 1974-1977. When I was 13 my dad left teaching and became and pastor. I intended to be either a mechanical engineer or a professional stuntman, but my parents encouraged me to try out for my academy's gymnastics team. I loved it! When I was 19 I had an experience that impressed me that God was calling me to a gymnastics ministry, and I have dedicated my life to teaching youth ever since. As time went on, I realized many youth are not interested in gymnastics, so I expanded my programs to include drama, computers, audio and video productions, extreme sports, and many other things to try to connect with youth. I also have had many, many jobs to help "support my gymnastics habit". I have a wife, Teresa, and 2 kids, Robyn and Toby.
